When Martin Gore released his first solo album, it was a record filled with other peoples songs. The Counterfeit EP was released in 1989. Two of my favourites from this album are The Sparks Never turn your back on mother earth and Joe Crow Compulsion. I've been looking for a copy of the latter ever since. I finally got a copy of it while visiting Kollaps Records today. I didn't get the original 7", I got a reissue 12" EP from Dark Entries. It's great.
Veil of Light
Got the new Veil of Light 12" today. Haven't had the time to play it yet, but I can't wait. I'll just stop typing and do just that.
