Poison...

Let's have another look at people doing stupid things.

This is the clip of the day!

Technologic...

This is without any doubt todays stupid link.

From despair to where...

I went to Westfield with Per, and then back later the same evening with Jo and Garrett. That's a big mall. Someone told me it's one of the biggest indoor malls in Europe. Dunno if that is correct, but it's a big ass mall.

It was great seeing my family in England again. They've grown. Well, not the parents, but the kids. It's been three years since I left. Can't believe it's been that long.

This is the actual plane Jonatan took over to London. Well, that's what he claimed anyway.

Tess and Peter at Heathrow Terminal 5. We were late, hungry and... Late.

More will follow...

And now, some more pics from London.

Jonatan telling us a story about his exciting tube ride in Moscow.

The view from my hotel at Gloucester Road.

Gloucester Road station.

Chiswick Park... Very nice...

Two pictuers from Chiswick Village.

Forbidden Planet. I love that store...

Regent Street.

I'd say this picture speaks for itself.

Katarina at Portobello Road.

Portobello Road Market.

I found this sign at the Chiswick Park entrance. Attention dogs!!

A big restroom at Chiswick Park.

The tubestation at Shepherd's Bush.

The Westfield shopping centre.

My family in London!

Me and Jo outside the Westfield Shopping centre.

The kids!

A trip down memory lane. I've been standing at this station at Alperton for more times than I can remember.

The lounge area at Heathrow Terminal 5. VIP invite only! I like being a VIP!

Rain... London... Well I guess you've heard that one before...

Victor has a new apple computer!

Last night, me and Maria went to Harry B James to check out Nale in concert. I really enjoyed it. My camera is pretty shitty when it's dark.

Marias phone has a bit better camera optics...

I need a new mobile phone.

Finally:

Bobby's workspace is now monitored!

White china...

I'm at Jen and Weronica's place in Chiswick Village. A very nice area with lots of trees and buildings. Approx 10 minutes from the Office where they both work. It sounds like it's a pretty quiet area. Ok, so they do have the District Line just around the corner, but I don't mind that at all. It's great to be here.

Today I'm gonna try to find "The Hacienda - How not to run a club" by Peter Hook. That is the only thing I want to bring back to Sweden. But Foyles was out of stock. I'll go through the rest of the shops in Soho.

I've got a pretty bad cold. My nose is blocked, AND running at the same time, and I'm running a fever. Doesn't really matter.

It would be nice if I could lose my headache though. It could be worse. A lot worse.

Hairdresser on fire...

I forgot to mention this last night. The Hotel where we are staying, it's really really strange. The corridors are massive and to be able to find your room, you have to navigate through a maze. I'm not the only one who got lost here. On my way down to breakfast, another guest was looking rather lost and asked me: "How do you find the reception?" Now we're off for Chiswick Park.

Eaton rifles...

No, I'm not in Eaton. It's closer to South Kensington really. I'm at the hotel right now. We had a nice dinner and some drinks too. To start with, our flight was delayed from Arlanda. Like 50 minutes or so. But we got on our merry way, and two hours and fifteen minutes, we touched down at Heathrow Terminal 5. I've never been to T5 before. They were just about to finish it when I left for Sweden. Tomorrow, we are off to Chiswick Park for a meeting. Then I'm gonna see some old friends and stay here until sunday. Great!

For sale!

A nice Simmons SDS 800 kit. A friend of mine is selling it. If you are interested, contact me.

And yes, the kit on the pictures is the item up for sale.

Astro Zombies...

My old mate Petter stopped by the office today. It was really good seeing him. I don't really know when I met him last time. Must have been sometime during the summer of 2008.

He gave me the silly clip of the day.

Check it out here!

I had to go to the police today. I've lost my passport. I just can't find it. I must have misplaced it somewhere. The policewoman at the counter was really helpful and understanding. I've got a new one coming my way early next week.

If things go as planned, I'll be flying to London next week. That will also mean I will miss the Ultravox concert. That sux...

But I'm really looking forward going to London again. I haven't been there since May 2008.

Buffalo gals...

I just got the very sad news. Malcom McLaren, the former Sex Pistols manager has died from Cancer.

Malcom McLaren, Jan 22, 1946 - April 8, 2010.

The world is suddenly pretty vacant. RIP...

Holiday...

Or something quite similar to it. I don't know how to be off work really. I guess I've forgotten how. I know, this is something that would be filed under luxury and things you shouldn't even have to think about. Not even once. I'm just not that good at doing nothing at all. My plan was to simply exist in the space time continuum. In some ways I have, in other ways, I haven't. Doesn't really matter. I'm doing fine. I really needed to get out of Stockholm for a few days. And I find Kalmar rather beautiful anyway.

I know, it's not very green yet, but it will be! I remember coming here as a kid and doing a lot of unsucessful fishing. And losing a lot of rods too. And bait. Come to think of it, I was nevery really good at fishing. I did enjoy it though.

I remember me and some friends playing poker, staying up all night. We were going to catch the fish by surprise by being there very early in the morning. A great plan. We thought. This was the same evening Denmark beat Germany during the 1992 European Championship final. We were amazed they beat Holland in the semi final a few days earlier, and we thought they'd be toast playing Germany. That didn't happen.

Back to the fishing... We ended up going fishing at the break of dawn. We didn't get any sleep what-so-ever. I remember my first throw. I tangled the line, and it was a too big of a mess to get it untangled, and I was out of the game. That's apporox 2 minutes after arriving. The other guys had the same issues and we ended up leaving the place after just 3 or 4 minutes of action fishing. Such a sad sight. Remember, if you plan to go fishing, check out the area. If you can see the wires anywhere in the area, do not stand below them. Chances are your fishing line might hit the wire (may it be a telephone line or worse like electric), and then you'll be in a mess. I know, because I've actually done it. Luckily, it was just a simple telephone line.

I can't remember when I've ever written such nonsense like this. I do hope you didn't finish this story. It was of no use at all.

I guess this is what might happen if you shut down your brain function for a few days. You end up doing what I just did. And for no reason at all.

(If you're wondering if I want you to) I want you to

My co-workers got a new toy today. It's not really new. We used to have this colour printer on my floor. It was stuck behind Bobbys back, and it was really just in the way. And quite noisy. The support people moved it down to our lower decks where all our trailers and graphics are being made. This is what it was used for:

From top left: Me, Jessica, Frida and Eva.

I guess this is not the way it's supposed to be used, but hey, if it make the creative vein flow, why not.

It was a laugh!

Bad reputation...

Leo took me to a preview of the movie Kick Ass tonight. I think it's probably one of the strangest flicks I've ever seen. I really enjoyed it!

Check it out here!

I loved it.

After the movie we went back to Leo's studio, I got to listen to the next release from their upcoming album. A cool track called Alpha Bravo. However, I'm gonna fight for the release of Push! I want that one as a single.

Leo also gave away some of his CD's. I can't really say no to free stuff... And I got some really good ones too... Bless that man...

I also got to hang out with Jesper and Cattis yesterday. It was really good seeing them again. Jesper got a delayed prezzie from me. I gave him the 7" Adolphson & Falk - I'm back in love again. Or is it "life again"? Don't remember. I only remember he asked me if he could buy it from me. It was actually missing from his collection. I gave it to him. He is probably the only one I know who'd appreciate it anyway. (Besides me of course...)

Happy birthday mate!

President...

Me and Fredrik went to Debaser last night. IAMX returned to Debaser, almost exactly one year after the totally awesome concert we went to last year. I still rank that one to be one of the best shows I've ever seen.

That's a really bad picture of IAMX.

That one isn't better. But at least it's better than the first one.

It really good, not as good as the first time we saw them, but it was a pretty good show. We had some beer, met some new friends and had a good time. It was a pretty good night. Next up will probably be Ultravox (hopefully), The Editors and BRMC. And I must say, I'm pretty stoked about this years Sonisphere. Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Slayer and Mötley Cruë. I've never seen any of them perform live, and I would be stupid, not to attend...

Now, it's time for me to head for work.

[EDIT]

Me and Sara went to Lasse i Parken. We had pancakes in the sun. Outdoors... It was awesome.

Mmm... Pancakes...

And Sara...

Idioter...

Since I moved all my studio gear to the capital of Sweden, I can't say I've used them that much. But I hope that'll change soon.

However, at the end of 2009, we actually got to use them. At least they made an appearance in a video. If you watch closely, you will see my MS10, MS20, SH-1 and SH-2 in the following video.

Check it out here.

And some great shots from the video:

As times goes by...

I went to Karlskrona this weekend to reunite with the Dogs of Distortion. We had a great time. We should do that more than once a year. Let's hope we'll stick to our plan for this summer.

Jonas with his prezzie. A really nice book about tanks! He was very happy with it. I think...

Pelle is really into facebooking via the phone!

Los gringos locos!

And Börje who is having trouble letting go of his new toy, the iPhone.

Birds!

And finally, some stuff from work. I think they turned out great!

Dine, dine my darling.

Have you ever been really excited about a new record? You know, you can hardly wait to rip it open and listen to it? It kinda happend to me today. When I got home, I had the new Alkaline Trio record just waiting for me on the floor. I've been looking forward to this since spring 2008. Their last record was more mature. Still had some very very good songs on it. Not like my favourites "From here to infirmary" and "Good mourning", but it had something.

I'm almost through their last song on the new album "This addiciton". I'm not that excited anymore. It's a bit too light. Still good songs, but there is something missing. Of course they are older now. The songs are still good, but it's not the same anymore. The good thing is that some records are that predictable, you get sick of them after one spin. Like a very predictable TBR record. (I still like them anyway...)

I'm not disappointed, but I'm not that excited either. I will have to get through this a few times more before I decide weather it's good or bad.

Food for thought

Finally, I got all my shit together and put loads of stuff into the basement. Now, I can actually have breakfast, dinner and what have you in my kitchen. All the boxes are gone. I was amazed over how many CD's I've get to categorized while unpacking the final boxes. I need to go through them and get rid of some of them. It's not likely I'll ever play them again. I might put them up for sale on ebay.

Finally. A kitchen table, no boxes and plenty of room... I've only been waiting since 1st of May, 2009... It's a kinda strange feeling, living without any boxes. It's almost like I actually live there for real.

Panic

A lot of snow. More snow. Wind. Cancelled trains. Cancelled tube. It could be worse.

Still, it's rather beautiful when the sun comes out.

This dude has had enough though...

What do I get?

Chaos. That sums up these past few days here in the snowy capital of Sweden. No tube or train. But what about the bus? Well, there are these replacement ones. However, they're always pretty filled to the limit. Actually I think they've passed the limit even. I had to walk to Gullmarsplan today. It wasn't that bad. It was sunny, and really cold, still I didn't mind. I'm gonna have to do it tomorrow as well. They say the tube won't be working for days. That sucks. You can go from Gullmars to Thorildsplan, but that's it. All the stations above ground are closed. Due to a lot of snow, wind and cold weather.

Still, you have to try to find something positive every day. Today, I think the beautiful morning was the great part. It was truly beautiful.
