I got some new dvds while I was back in Kalmar. I just love some of this cheap stuff you can get. I have a thing for classic movies like A bridge too far.
An historic telling of the failed attempt to capture several bridges to Germany in World War II in a campaign called Operation Market-Garden.
Just look at the cast:
Dirk Bogarde, Michael Caine, James Caan, Sean Connery, Elliott Gould, Gene Hackman, Anthony Hopkins, Laurence Olivier, Robert Redford, Maximilian Schnell and Liv Ullman.
Not too bad... I remember watching this on SVT a long time ago. It's not as fantastic as I remember, but it's certainly worth watching if you're into stuff like this.
